Important COVID-19 Update from Greenham
The coronavirus outbreak is beginning to heavily impact businesses and events across the Red Meat sector and beyond. I want to assure you that we are doing all we can to maintain processing of livestock and keep our plants open during the Covid-19 outbreak. The Australian Government has announced that meat processing is an essential service so we remain operational its business-as-usual at present.
Under the guidance of our management team and with the support of a dedicated staff across our plants, we have activated a range of mitigation measures and are continually monitoring, reviewing and managing our responses to the evolving situation.
We’d like to reassure you that as a food manufacturer we adhere to the strictest cleaning and hygiene procedures verified by state and federal food safety authorities, so you can be confident the appropriate measures are being taken.
We remain confident that we can continue to process your cattle across our three sites going forward and it is business-as-usual at present.
