    Assistant Quality Assurance Manager

    Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the successful candidate must have the ability to lead and supervise a team of QA Assurance Officers in maintaining our Quality Management system, ensure the consistent delivery of quality products to our customers and support the achievement of our operational and strategic goals through the monitoring of our QA practices and undertake programmed day to day quality control procedures in assisting to lead the team and oversee the various quality assurance tasks. The candidate will have experience supervising Quality Assurance and Management Programs, demonstrable knowledge and application of safe working practices in your daily work and have Aus-meat and/or MSA qualifications, will be highly regarded but not mandatory.

    Livestock Handler / Yardsperson

    Greenham Tongala is recruiting experienced Yards Persons with cattle handling skills who are prepared to learn and grow with the Company in our expansion. Full time positions are available, currently operating Monday to Friday. Previous experience receiving stock, sorting, counting and preparing cattle for processing will be highly regarded and you receive comprehensive on-site accredited training programs in a state-of-the-art yard system. An understanding of animal welfare & OH&S requirements is critical in this role.

    Refrigeration Plant Operator

    Greenham Tasmania currently has a vacancy at its Smithton processing facility for a Refrigeration Plant Operator or Trainee Operator. This position would suit qualified tradesman (Refrigeration mechanic) or dual tradie looking to enter refrigeration field. This facility has been in operation for 25 years and processes large numbers of quality cattle, much of which is destined for export markets. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the successful candidate must have the ability t0, demonstrate commitment to safe work practices in your daily work, complete effective fault finding and diagnostic activities, and undertake both preventative and breakdown maintenance activities.

    Rendering/Boiler Plant Operator

    Greenham Tasmania are seeking a Rendering/Boiler Plant Operator. Your Responsibilities include boiler attendance, hot water management, Monitoring of computer control systems, Adjustment of equipment where necessary, packing of rendering products and general rendering duties. The rendering plant operates a rotating 24 hour shift five days a week. Experience is not essential, for the right applicant, extensive training will be Provided.
