Dairy Farmers Kim and Peter Angel of Kerang have a way of keeping an eye on the farm whenever they travel, thanks to HW Greenham and Sons Pty Ltd.
The Angels were presented with a Dell notebook computer valued at $1600 after winning the Greenham Tongala website competition to promote its weekly service which emails the latest cattle prices to suppliers.
Kim Angel said the laptop would be very handy to keep an eye on the farm when they get the chance to go away.
“We get the milk results via the Internet, so the laptop will help us to keep a close eye on what’s going on at the farm, especially when we’re away.”
The family’s old PC will not go unloved; it will still do some chores in the office but will
be put to good use by the Angels’ children, Nicole and Matthew.
